TItle:
Future Individual Telehealth Systems with Embedded Networked Sensing
Description:
The project aims to achieve a healthy life for a person by using body sensor networks together with ambient sensors. Future individual telehealth applications involve in a complex environment that is shared by the public, a reliable, long-lasting, and yet convenient system is thus demanded. We focus on context-aware solutions that use different dynamic contexts to capture a usage session and reduce communication overheads. The project demonstrates an effort at NESL to investigate the challenges and advances in integrating following domains: health care, pervasive computing, sensor networks, human-machine interface, and security.
