Philipp Steurer

Graduate Student - Electrical Engineering

He received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Applied Science in Lucerne, Switzerland. In 1997 he joined the Komax Corporation where he was responsible for the hard- and software development of embedded systems.
Since fall 2001 he is pursuing his Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering in the Signal Processing field at UCLA. He became a member of NESL in Spring 2002 when he started working on the Smart Table project.
His research interests include hardware and software for embedded systems, real time operating systems, software analysis and design concepts, speech- and image-processing.
