BIOGRAPHY
Let's keep it simple. Born in Tirupati, India. Grew up in Starkville, MS. Went to school for undergraduate at Georgia Tech. Worked in Atlanta for Radiant Systems. PhD student at UCLA.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
CENS at UCLA (October 2006 – )

  • Researching methods to enable the proper selection of individuals for data collection initiatives through modeling capabilities, availability, reputation, and cost.
  • Involved in the Participatory Sensing and Urban Sensing initiatives.
NESL at UCLA (January 2006 – )

  • Researching various aspects of mobility, biomedical applications, and security centric design in sensor networks in the Network and Embedded Systems Laboratory.
  • Involved in the Physicians and Patients, Mobile Interaction and Monitor System project and Urban Sensing Initiative
EDA at UCLA (August 2005 – )

  • Researching efficient power supply design for FPGA and ASICs in the Electronic Design Automation Lab. Topics of interest include efficient PWM and PFM design, power delivery architectures, and dynamic power scheduling algorithms.
Radiant Systems (May 2001 – August 2001), (June 2002 – June 2005 )

  • Tasks included developing point of sale and fuel controller software for the Petroleum and Convenience Store industry.
  • Projects revolve around development on a real-time embedded system using C++ programming language. Experience with C#, SQL, and XML for various utilities.
GTCAD at the Georgia Institute of Technology (January 2004 –May 2005)

  • Investigating concepts related to physical synthesis algorithms for Field Programmable Analog Arrays.
Educational Design Institute of Mississippi State University (May 2001 – August 2001)

  • Designed and setup the Mississippi School Design Guidelines website.
Computer Engineering Department at the Georgia Institute of Technology (December 2000 – January 2002)

  • Received a $1,500 research grant from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
  • Investigated the design and optimization of optical wave systems using photonic crystals.
  • Researched electro-optical polymers for use in optical network switching mechanisms.
Remote Sensing Research Center of Starkville, Mississippi (May – August 2000)

  • Investigated the use of Kalman Filtering to eliminate intermediate noise in hyper-spectral data using Imagine data mining tool.
  • Analyzed economic and production effects of applying remote sensing techniques in large-scale crop production facilities.
PFC Holding Company and Global Warming International Center (1999-2000)

  • Worked as a contractor to provide cliental with internet based solutions, including design, implementation, and maintenance of small-scale websites and basic database management using HTML, Java Script, and SQL.
NSF Engineering Research Center at Mississippi State University (May 1999 – August 1999) and (May 1998 – August 1998)

  • Developed graphics programs to model simple geometric figures using OpenGL.
  • Analyzed the performance and design limitations of the OpenInventer and OpenGL.
