RESEARCH INTERESTS
Some time ago I came into the embedded systems field from a background in networking and security. My primary interest is in developing flexible, expressible, and easy to use systems for embedded sensor networks. This interest has leads me to explore techniques for modular development for embedded sensor networks and the methods that can be used to analyze the resulting modular systems.
EDUCATION

• B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics, Harvey Mudd College, 2002
• Masters in Computer Science, University of California, Los Angeles, 2005
• Ph. D (in progress) in Computer Science, University of California, Los Angeles

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Graduate Student Researcher (Present)
The Aerospace Corporation (Summer 2001)
HMC CS Department System Administrator (Summer 2000)

PROJECTS

INTERESTS

I am a big fan of Go, an ancient game of strategy with simple rules that lead to very deep game play. I try to get a couple of games in each quarter. Let me know if you want to play! For more information on the game of Go I recommend:

Running is a great break from the day and a super way to get in shape. I am a loyal follower of Hal Higdon:
