Biography: I am a PhD Student studying Systems and Control engineering within UCLA's Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department. My research work is cross-departmental, pulling from the areas of Mechanical and Electrical engineering, as well as Computer Science. My interests surround the fields of mechatronics, control systems, stochastic estimation, as well as machine learning for embedded systems. My research for the NESL lab has primarily focused on improving the safety of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) using deep reinforcement learning methods to predict vehicle safety levels. Outside of academia and research, I like to surf at Malibu and Manhattan Pier, play tennis, and watch movies with friends!
